Mobilizon is a privacy respecting, federated events management platform. I was given the link on Mastodon after asking if there are any alternatives to Meetup.
I have signed up and the process is really easy, the terms and conditions are also presented in a format that is easy to read / understand (big plus).
You don't need to sign up in order to say you are going to a meeting, another big plus for privacy etc.

So Further to my earlier post
Just going to turn my attention to the Task manager component of the service, Kanban. This looks a little bit like Trello. However, it is less cluttered, and looks much nicer.
This is the main KanBan area, you can change the colours with the icon in the corner of the boards.
Click on the colour, you want each board to be. Once done your board starts to look a lot more attractive. By default colours are just grey.
The user list accessed via the user list
icon, is self explanatory, once you have invited other people they are listed here.
There is also a chat function, which is called up by the chat icon.
Both Users and Chat are displayed by default, you can hide this and make the are look even less cluttered.
The icon in the top corner showing 9 dots, gives you access to the other modules that are available, All work is saved to the CryptDrive.

Overleaf Webinar write up from 09/7/2020
I attended another Webinar presented by Overleaf, the cloud based, collaborative text editor.
This webinar focused on “Organizing and Managing your Overleaf Projects”.
Again really well presented and it covered project ownership, and the rights this gives you, e.g you can't rename a project that has been shared with you.
Also covered folders and tags, the differences between project archiving and deletion. Along with more about what is found on the dashboard, searching for projects for example. Well worth taking a look at in the previous webinar recordings.
In the meantime there is a TUG virtual conference near the end of July (24th –> 26th). Please see link below for details.
The next Webinar is on 30th July and will cover How to Create Professional Looking Documents In-House.
