Last night, the two @LIGO detectors observed the second gravitational-wave candidate of the day.
The possible signal with the preliminary designation S250205ee most likely originates – if it is real – from the merger of two black holes.
It occurred at a (luminosity) distance of 9.4 billion light-years.
This brings the total number of significant signal candidates identified in the fourth joint observation run of the international detector network to 190. One (GW230529) has already been fully analyzed and published. The others will also be carefully examined and then published if confirmed.

There are 40 quintillion black holes in our Universe
This is a huge number, I think this something like 40 10^24
or 40,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
Which is according to Scientists is the estimate of the number of black holes in the galaxy. The article on big think is here
This is why we use SI units and express huge numbers in powers. So 10^6 is a million or 1,000,000 for example.
It also makes it easier to multiply together as
10^6 x 1000 = 10^6 x 10^3 = 10^{6+3} = 1,000,000,000 or 10^9

Physicists suggest that black holes could have an exit to other places in the universe
Interesting article from Meson Stars regarding black holes having possible exits. I have included a paste of my Fediverse comment below. However feel free to discuss on Fediverse or on Science forums.
This does make some sense, I have heard about white holes, which are the opposite of black holes as they allow matter to be ejected in to space. This seems to tie in with the suggestion in the article that if you could pass through you cannot get back again. However in relation to this
"Scientists have already said that all matter inside a black hole is destroyed, "
I got the impression matter can't be created or destroyed, it is interchangeable with energy. In which case, could it be that matter is drawn in to a black hole, somehow converted in to energy then ejected from a white hole?
So purely on a speculative idea
So how do we find these white holes, perhaps we have already found them as we can detect things like gamma ray bursts or neutrino emissions but can't always explain them, perhaps these are related to white holes and we are observing the release of energy in to space as these or similar phenomenon

From what I have managed to read on this, very interesting, there is so much out there yet to discover. Would be great to get access to the above paper, I will ask on the Open University forums if I have access given I am Alumni.
It does highlight the need for open access to science journals. A few posts on this coming up.
