Working from home
I found an interesting resource, published on the OERu Technology blog which looks at some free tools that can help us work from home. I became aware of this, from a discussion on Mastodon.
Lots of familiar tools here and the table shows these tools along side their commercial counterparts. I have been looking at Big Blue Button, which is looks useful for online discussions, both video, voice and text chat are supported.
There are many more of these tools out there, KanBan is mentioned which as I have discussed previously is included as part of the CryptPad suite.
Hope this helps, we could be on Lockdown for some time, so it is a good idea to look at how we adapt how we work to suit, maybe it will lead to longer term changes and more people working from home.

Scratch Project 3
In an effort to help people keep kids occupied over the CoronaVirus (Covid-19) crisis. I am helping my local library with running a virtual code club. To this end I have decided to work through the scratch module 1 activities.
I have created a new studio for these completed projects.
Please do not contact me regarding joining this studio, the group will be invite only. It will also serve for a new studio for code club when we get back.

SignIn tips
If you're looking at using repl.it and or FreeCodeCamp ( FCC ), the you have the option to use your github credentials to signin.
FreeCodeCamp
With FCC your user account appears to be bound to your e-mail address. Therefore, if you use github to sign in,it will bind your account to the e-mail address you used to sign up to github, so change one you need to change both to maintain your progress being saved properly.
If you use your e-mail to sign in to FCC then you get sent a one time pin number each time, which can provide problematic if you then have issues accessing your e-mail. So it may be easier to just use github to sign in, having github accounts also has other advantages.
Repl.it
Using Github to sign in to Repl.it also gives you the feature to save your projects to / from your github repository, which should make collaboration easier.
Gist
Another feature of Github is gist, so again this is ideal for sharing code blocks and getting help for example.

Bio-hackathon
From 5th to 11th April there will be a bio-hackathon to improve open source software. The following is taken directly from the e-mail that I received on this.
Dear Debian Community,
There will be an virtual (online) COVID-19 Biohackathon from April 5-11,
2020 and the Debian Med team invite you help us improve biomedical FOSS
and the tools/libraries that support those projects.
Most tasks do not require any knowledge of biology or medicine, and all
types of contributions are welcome: bug triage, testing, documentation,
CI, translations, packaging, and code contributions.
1. Debian related bugs are viewable at [covid19-bugs]
2. Software awaiting packaging is listed at [covid-19-packages], please
respond to the RFP with your intent so we don't duplicate work
3. You can also contribute directly to the upstream packages, linked
from the Debian Med COVID-19 task page at [covid-19-packages]. Note:
many biomedical software packages are quite resource limited, even
compared to a typical FOSS project. Please be kind to the upstream
author/maintainers and realize that they may have limited resources to
review your contribution. Triaging open issues and opening pull requests
to fix problems is likely to be more useful than nitpicking their coding
style.
4. Architectures/porting: Please focus on amd64, as it is the primary
architecture for biomedical software. A secondary tier would be arm64 /
ppc64el / s390x (but beware the endian-related issues on s390x). From a
free/open hardware perspective it would be great to see more riscv64
support, but that is not a priority right now
5. The Debian Med team is also trying to improve the availability of
automated biomedical pipelines/workflows [robust-workflows] using the
Common Workflow Language open standard. The reference implementation of
CWL is written in Python and there are many open issues ready for work
that don't require any biomedical background [cwltool-issues]
6. It is very easy to contribute to Debian Med team. We have a lowNMU
policy for all our packages. Merge requests on Salsa are usually
processed quickly (but please ping some of the latest Uploaders of the
package to make sure it will be noticed). Even better if you ask for
membership to the team and push directly to the salsa repository.
7. The [debian-med-team-policy] should answer all questions how to
contribute.
