      <title>Elementary OS 6</title>
      <link>https://personaljournal.ca/paulsutton/elementary-os-6</link>
<description>&lt;![CDATA[Elementary OS 6&#xA;&#xA;Elementary OS 6 1] has been released. Looks like this has some [nice new features. &#xA;&#xA;I decided to write this post after following a link on their Mastodon [2] post to the Elementary OS store were you can buy Laptops with Elementary OS pre-installed. There are a few suppliers listed. I am picking out star labs here [4] as the are United Kingdom based. They appear to sell quite a few Linux friendly laptops and offer a range of OS choices. What is also great is they seem reasonably priced. I am not too sure how much these are fully freeOS friendly (e.g Debian) however it is nice to just be able to buy hardware without Windows for a start. &#xA;&#xA;Links&#xA;&#xA;Website&#xA;Mastodon&#xA;Store&#xA;StarLabs&#xA;&#xA;Tags&#xA;&#xA;#Linux,#ElementryOS&#xA;&#xA;a href=&#34;https://liberapay.com/PaulSutton/donate&#34;img alt=&#34;Donate using Liberapay&#34; src=&#34;https://liberapay.com/assets/widgets/donate.svg&#34;/a&#xA;&#xA;img src=&#34;https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/uploads/default/original/1X/6aac842b7ff5c58385a02f3a131c259281be88c8.png&#34; target=&#34;_blank&#34; &#xA;&#xA;hr&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;table&#xD;&#xA;thead&#xD;&#xA;trtda rel=&#34;me&#34; href=&#34;https://qoto.org/@zleap&#34;Mastodon/a/td&#xD;&#xA;tda href=&#34;https://wiki.ircnow.org/?n=Shelllabs.Intro&#34;ShellLabs/td&#xD;&#xA;tda href=&#34;https://joinmastodon.org/&#34;Join Mastodon/a/td/tr/thead/table&#xD;&#xA;center&#xD;&#xA;AI statement : b Consent is NOT granted to use the content of this blog for the purposes of AI training or similar activity.
