In Debian you can right click on the graphical file manager and Open Terminal Here.
Extract the .tar.gz file tar -xvf file.tar.gz
Switch to root using su -i (unless you want the path error shown in the video
Navigate to where you extracted the .tar.gz file
type *dpkg -i .deb

This SHOULD install everything, set up Libreoffice and place components on the menu system.

Video

iframe title="Install LibreOffice 7.4.x on Debian 11" src="https://diode.zone/videos/embed/8f9661fd-bc6b-4329-8ca0-7995cb9a8c17" allowfullscreen="" sandbox="allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-popups" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0"/iframe

Links

LibreOffce

Tags

#LibreOffice,#Debian11,#Installation,#Terminal,#BASH,#Office

hr

table
thead
trtda rel="me" href="https://qoto.org/@zleap"Mastodon/a/td
tda href="https://wiki.ircnow.org/?n=Shelllabs.Intro"ShellLabs/td
tda href="https://joinmastodon.org/"Join Mastodon/a/td/tr/thead/table
center
AI statement : b Consent is NOT granted to use the content of this blog for the purposes of AI training or similar activity.
