A new Firefox feature is enabled by default, and by doing so, Mozilla seem have struck a bad note with users and privacy advocates.

This is on by default, and it is recommended you disable it. The article linked below has more information along with instructions on how to turn the feature off.

As I have an interest in Science, and am on a STEM based Mastodon instance 'qoto' [1]. I suggested a feature which helps users cite individual posts (if writing a paper for example).

This has now been added to the issue tracker [2]. The actual issue suggestion can be found at [3]. At present this is a very rough idea.
